LIFE HEALING LIFE

It’s what all of this is about.

Hi all! I’m posting a bit about my private acupuncture practice — Life Healing Life — for two main reasons.

First, even if you don’t live anywhere near me and will never get fertility acupuncture from me, I think getting to know a person better builds up confidence and trust. And let's be honest, in a world that preys on vulnerability and desperation, building confidence and trust are huge. I know there are a lot of people online and in the world giving you a lot of fertility advice. I highly recommend you “get to know” anyone you’re thinking of trusting and inviting into your journey, myself included!

Second, you might live in the Twin Cities area and you might genuinely be interested in seeing me for acupuncture some time. Cool. If you think I might be a good fit for your needs, contact me through this form and tell me about you and let's see what we can do together!

A life healing a life.

So a bit about my private practice.

I opened my doors to private practice in 2006 and from day one I’ve only seen folks that fit into very narrow needs — I work with fertility concerns, pregnancy after infertility struggles, trauma, mental health, and grief (especially pregnancy and stillbirth grief) about 80 - 90% of the time. The remaining 10-20% or so is a smattering of other non-fertility but hormonal / emotional women’s health concerns. Actually a big chunk of that are past patients who see me for ongoing tune-ups after their families are complete — which I love!

And that’s it. That’s all I do and I couldn’t imagine loving what I do more.

I work slower than the average acupuncturist — in a typical 8 hour day most acupuncture practitioners might see 12- 15 people. But I see 6 — because I believe education and listening are big parts of the treatments and every bit as powerful as my acupuncture needles. It’s no coincidence I’ve had a waitlist for new patients since 2007. Yes, I go slower, so I have fewer spots. But my outcomes are better because these things matter.

“I've seen over and over and over again what a difference education and mind and body balance make.”

And so, since 2006 I've done thousands of one-on-one visits and had the honor and privilege of being a part of hundreds of fertility stories and people’s lives, and I’ve witnessed over and over again what a difference education and mind and body balance make. These things change lives and fertility outcomes at the same time.

The Baby You Want fertility course and my other online education offerings are my way of giving these things to even more people in even more places in even more ways without having to compromise on practicing what I preach, and having balance in my own life. Which is a Michael Scott Win-Win-Win for all you Office fans out there!

You may have read elsewhere, or talked with me in-person, and already know that I’m not a huge fan of guru fertility culture. Ugh. So it’s no coincidence that my private practice is called Life Healing Life not Nicole Lange Acupuncture.

This name is a nod to many layers of my values as both a provider and as a person.

My relationships are not about playing god. I’m not a doctor fixing my patients. I’m a human in service to other humans — life healing life.

My practice is a two-way street and I heal, learn, and evolve just as much as those I work with — life healing life.

I believe we’re all woven into the same web and our stories should connect us. So for every new thing I learn from one person I share and teach it to at least ten others and we all move forward together — life healing life.

If you want to learn more about my practice I warmly welcome you to explore my website. I’ve got more resources, posts, and of course, I’ve got lots about working with me one-on-one too.

Excited for our paths to cross,

Nicole
